Burn Injury Information

What to do in case of a burn injury

If you are burned and you suspect it may be someone else’s fault, you should:


1) Obtain information about burn incident:

  • Name, address and all telephone numbers of person who caused burn injury
  • Name, address and telephone number of the owner of the property on which you were burned


2) Obtain information from witnesses:

  • Name, address and all telephone numbers (home, pager, cell, etc.)
  • Employer’s name, address and all telephone numbers


3) Take photographs of injuries and location of incident
